Spring Sippers & Easter Pairings

Spring Sippers & Easter Pairings

Everything feels lighter in the spring time.  We Spring clean, declutter, pack away our bulky clothes, and clean up the yard for Spring planting.  Our food and beverage choices always seem to follow our moods.  Crisp, clean, light and herbaceous.

With the Easter holiday approaching, you may have friends and family coming over for a special brunch or dinner.  For that and all your Spring time activities, we put together some selections that are sure to put a Spring in your step this month.

2022 Loubud Blanc de Noirs Sparkling, Spear Vineyard SRH

If you are serving Easter Brunch, Sparkling is the way to go.  The perfect pairing for scrambled eggs, eggs Benedict, fresh fruit and fresh greens.  This is a vibrant sparkling with a creamy palate.

2022 Rocket's Red Rosé of Pinot Noir, SBC

Rosé and Pinot Noir are perfect pairings for Spring Lamb so this Rosé of Pinot Noir is a no brainer!  Savory aromas with hints of mouth watering strawberry burst from the glass.

2018 Gogi "La Mer" Pinot Noir, SRH

A beautiful blend of bright red fruit and savory notes of cedar and incense.  A perfect balance of the feminine and masculine that would pair well with lamb roast or chops.

2019 Seagrape Gewurztraminer, SBC

This bottling is so beautifully floral with aromas of lychee, jasmin and orange blossom.  Bone dry with tangy lime, peach and pear notes, this is the perfect wine to go with a honey glazed ham.

Calicraft "Lion Dance Ale" brewed with ginger and lemongrass

Six Rivers Raspberry Lambic style Ale

These two are a perfect match for Sunday Brunch, with cold or smoked salmon and fresh spring vegtables and salads.  They would be amazing with a honey glazed ham!

"Grandpa Plank's" Weissbier (club member exclusive)

If your a club member you remember this one with a mild vanilla flavor that melds into a soft cracker palate.  The finish is wheat bread with a hint of current fruitiness.  This beer would be perfect with spring Lamb dishes.  (only a few cans left!)

This list just scratches the surface of our Spring Time selections with more arriving every day.  Stop in to see us or visit the online shop for up to date selections!

Cheers to Spring Time and Hoppy Easter Bunny's!
